A fantastic specialist school in Swindon, Wiltshire, is looking to welcome a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the community this February! The school supports students with Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or complex needs. They are looking for a confident HLTA who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs.

Responsibilities of an HLTA:

Guiding students and ensuring support within the classroom
Learning students' individual needs and adapting classroom approaches to suit them
Leading lessons
Collaborating with SENCO to implement appropriate education plans (IEPs) for students

The school has excellent facilities and resources for you to utilize throughout lessons and while supporting the students. As an HLTA, you will follow the school's encouragement of helping students develop independence and functional skills!

Previous experience as a TA is necessary - this can be in a Specialist, Primary, or Secondary education setting. A relevant degree or qualification would be beneficial but not mandatory. The most important thing is enthusiasm and dedication to supporting students!
