Roles & Responsibilities

As an Associate Director in our Financial Services Indirect Tax team, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of clients as the main point of contact for indirect tax, and developing this portfolio to grow profitable work.
• Building a target list of businesses, leveraging your business development skills to establish new relationships and generate new work for indirect tax and other teams.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to contribute to proposals for new work and providing technical input to tax-wide projects.
• Participating in the indirect tax leadership team by sharing ideas on management, projects, strategy, and focus.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• The role is suitable for a current Manager or Associate Director with strong technical, business development, and personal skills, including an experienced manager seeking progression.
• The candidate should have a strong interest in VAT's technical aspects and expect a high level of technical work appropriate to the role.
• Extensive experience in VAT advisory work, preferably with knowledge of financial services, funds industry, or insurance VAT issues.
• CTA qualification or legally qualified.
