Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a National IFA practice that is looking to recruit an Independent Financial Adviser to join their team. They are seeking someone to cover the East Anglia area, with clients mainly in Norwich/Kings Lynn. This is a home-based role but will require travel. The ideal candidate will come from an independent background. Great salary and bonus on offer.
Purpose
- To deliver holistic financial advice, supporting clients to achieve their financial objectives.
- Developing long-standing relationships with clients through regular reviews and delivering solutions to meet their changing circumstances.
- Creating strategic alliances with professional connections to develop new client relationships.
- Driving a referable culture within the client bank to encourage referrals.
- Organically growing client relationships to meet ongoing business requirements.
- Reaching revenue targets and contributing to business growth through client retention and new business, while ensuring client needs are met.
- Acting as an ambassador for the company brand through active promotion of services.
Responsibilities
- Develop effective relationships with clients and professional connections as primary sources of new clients and brand awareness.
- Develop a sustainable business model for providing advice to clients.
- Build holistic client relationships in line with our service proposition.
- Identify and seek new business opportunities internally and externally to support growth.
- Provide financial advice on a range of whole-of-market financial planning solutions.
- Offer exceptional service, ensuring regular reviews and adherence to service propositions to maintain and grow recurring revenue.
- Achieve organizational, operational, personal, and behavioral objectives, demonstrating company values and core competencies.
- Expand client opportunities through networking with external bodies.
- Ensure timely and accurate MI reporting as directed by the business or Adviser Relationship Manager.
- Meet KPIs in service, sales, and compliance.
- Support the FCA's Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) initiative by operating in line with regulations.
Experience and core skills
- Financial Planning diploma qualified (ideally Chartered or working towards Chartered).
- Demonstrable financial planning experience with a recognized organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial arrangements.
- Proven track record of achieving challenging sales targets in a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of back-office systems.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Collaborative working style.
- Previously achieved CAS status.
- Ensure all CPD logs and training are up to date.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry and legislative changes impacting advice, with strategies to mitigate risks.
