Job Title: Warehouse Team Manager (Any 5 from 7)

Client: Leading FMCG Logistics Provider

Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 Day Working (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00) over an 8-week cycle, not alternate (including weekend working typically 1 in 2)

Salary: £30,000 - £33,500 + additional company benefits

Role Location: Walsall (B43)

Loom Talent has been exclusively appointed on multiple Warehouse Team Manager (Any 5 from 7) vacancies by a leading FMCG business, due to rapid growth at their largest site in the network, based in Walsall.

Key Responsibilities:

1. People-Centric Leadership: Lead and inspire a dedicated team of approximately 80 colleagues to reach their full potential. Focus on staff well-being and development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
2. Health & Safety: Uphold rigorous health and safety standards, promoting safety awareness across the Transport and distribution operations.
3. Performance Metrics: Evolve organisational approaches to KPIs while ensuring site standardisation.
4. Performance Management: Manage under/over performance, conduct probation reviews, return-to-work processes, PDPs, annual reviews, and disciplinary actions.
5. TMS Expertise: Use Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Business Systems to enhance operational efficiency.
6. Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth goods flow from warehouse to customer.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Background in Logistics, Distribution, and Supply Chain - Essential
2. Experience in FMCG environment - Advantageous
3. Minimum 3+ years at Warehouse Supervisor / Shift Manager / Operations Manager level - Essential
4. Managed teams of 60+ employees/drivers - Essential
5. Exceptional people management and leadership skills - Essential
