Delegated Claims Specialist - One Year FTC

We're seeking an individual with knowledge and experience working within the Delegated Authority space, ideally Delegated Claims, to join our global Fortune 500 specialty insurance client in their Leeds or Manchester office as part of supporting their continued growth of the function.

This is an exciting opportunity reporting to the Head of UK Insurance Claims. The role is responsible for oversight and monitoring of delegated claims arrangements with TPAs and coverholders. If you're looking for your next role within Delegated Authority, this is the position for you!

• A working knowledge of the insurance regulatory framework
• Experience with conduct risk, claims operations, and metrics
• A critical, analytical, and curious mindset
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
• An ability to work collaboratively as a team player and independently

What will be your duties and responsibilities?

• Oversee and govern UK delegated claims handling relationships to ensure best practices.
• Build relationships with strategic partners and serve as the main contact for claims-related communications between the client, TPAs, and coverholders.
• Manage onboarding for new delegated authority schemes, assessing the performance of TPAs for appointment.
• Work with delegated authority TPAs or coverholders to ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards.
• Ensure delegated providers meet service requirements, claims procedures, and organizational standards.
• Manage annual renewal processes for delegated providers, reviewing systems and processes for compliance.
• Handle off-boarding arrangements and monitor delegated providers in run-off.
