Primary Role

Coveris is a leading international manufacturer of film, flexibles, labels, and board packaging solutions. We help to reduce waste and constantly work on new, high-performance, and sustainable packaging solutions. Our Gainsborough site produces high-quality print film solutions for suppliers of packaged food to many major supermarkets in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Strip all jobs after printing
• Use of plate cleaner to clean all plates
• Inspect printing plates prior to packing, advise on remakes when required
• Maintain sleeve quality, stripping, and taping sleeves when required
• Issue sleeves to the sleeve Kanban system for mounting following prism
• Conduct buddy checks when required
• Maintain housekeeping standards
• Follow managerial instructions

Job Type

Full-time, Permanent

Schedule

• Monday - Friday (seasonal Saturdays paid as overtime in May, June & July)
• Alternating 3-shift rotation: 36 hours days, 36 hours nights, and 48 hours mixed days and nights
• 12-hour days (6-6) and 12-hour nights (6-6), averaging 40 hours/week
• Overtime paid at a premium rate
