Job Description

  • Ensuring routine maintenance of equipment and machinery.
  • Diagnosing and resolving equipment faults.
  • Improving production processes by recommending modifications to equipment.
  • Complying with all safety regulations in the manufacturing facility.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to optimise operational efficiency.
  • Assisting in the implementation of new machinery and equipment.
  • Recording and maintaining logs of equipment repair and servicing.
  • Training team members on proper equipment usage and safety protocols.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • A level 3 qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Open on background and industry experience.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in an industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving equipment faults.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
