Are you a recent graduate who has had experience in 1st/2nd line support? Are you someone who wants a challenge and learn from a team of experienced IT professionals?

Our client has a position available for you to take the next step in becoming a System Administrator where you will be part of a team managing a Mac OS and Windows infrastructure and Netgear/Juniper networks who have also moved into Office 365, SharePoint online, and Azure.

Having a solid understanding of Windows and network security for this position with experience in troubleshooting would be great, but you will also learn a lot on the job.

This position will allow you to gain exposure to a large and growing network whilst being part of a team, allowing your future IT career.

Your principal duties will include but are not limited to:

  1. Providing 1st/2nd line support to users in the business via phone, email, and remote connections.
  2. Providing support when technicians are on annual leave, busy, or when required as per the requirements of the business.
  3. Administration and support of computers, printers, laptops, and IP desk phones.
  4. Administration and support of phone systems.
  5. Inventory management.
  6. Liaising with 3rd parties when required.
  7. Input into ad-hoc projects when required.
  8. Hardware/software fault finding and resolution.
  9. System builds/software installations and configuration.
  10. Helping ensure the company’s systems align with industry-related accreditations such as ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials certification and any other regulations such as GDPR.
