Manage and oversee logistics projects within the company
Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth project progression
Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved
Create and deliver comprehensive project reports
Evaluate and assess the results of a project
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths
Ensure health, safety, and environmental policies are adhered to
Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Manager should have:
A degree in a relevant field such as Business, Management, or Logistics OR be qualified by experience
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Transport & Distribution industry
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Prince2, PMP)
Previous experience of managing new DC builds and infrastructure changes
Strong client-facing and internal communication skills
Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
