Role: Data Architect

More about the role:

1. Define Data Product Definition, Architecture, and Roadmap.
2. Collaborate with client stakeholders to define Target Model backlog and lead the delivery of a complete Architectural Design.
3. Ensure designs and guidance align with relevant strategies, roadmaps, and policies.
4. UK Mortgages background experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
5. Experience with GCP, Harness, Azure is expected.
6. Support gathering information requirements from IT and Business stakeholders.
7. Ensure information requirements are realistic and achievable; simplify and de-risk the information landscape.
8. Model information requirements in understandable ways for different stakeholders.
9. Understand enterprise-wide information architecture and relate specific requirements to it.
10. Identify solution strengths and weaknesses, and take steps to mitigate weaknesses.
11. Define the information roadmap for the project and wider programme for solution development.
12. Understand the solution's position within the broader application and information landscape, working with other architects as needed.
13. Ensure data design consistency from initial phases through to build, facilitating knowledge transfer to the Engineering team and reviewing downstream deliverables.
14. Define, at the logical level, data interfaces between systems.
15. Assist in the physical design of data stores, interface files, or services.
16. Ensure solution compliance with client information policies and standards.
17. Lead Architecture Committee governance approvals for artefacts.
