Our client is recruiting for a Technical Sales Apprentice to join their team in Northampton.

The Position

Job Title: Technical Sales Apprentice

Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 IT Technical Sales

Apprenticeship Duration: 13 months + EPA

Location: Northampton, NN2

Working Hours: 9am-5pm – Monday to Friday

Salary: £7.55 per hour

Role and Responsibilities

This exciting opportunity is for a hardworking and motivated candidate to join a dedicated Telecom team as a Technical Sales apprentice. Responsibilities include:

Administration & Marketing

• Assisting with general administration duties
• Assisting the MD
• Handling calls
• Basic accounting assistance
• Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
• Research & data generation
• Creating marketing materials for customers
• Supporting marketing activities

Sales & Lead Generation

• Assisting with sales activities
• Selling telecommunication products (Mobile phones, SIMs)
• Selling broadband products and services via calls and emails
• Developing knowledge of broadband technologies, digital phone systems, mobile phones, and SIMs
• Generating customer solutions and quotations
• Assisting in technical processes
• Supporting internal technical sales
• Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers
