Bexley CAMHS is currently in the process of redesigning its service model to align with the nationally recognised CAMHS Thrive framework. An approach, to help us deliver timely, responsive and needs based mental health interventions for the children and young people in Bexley.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within this framework for a specialist Mental Health Clinicians to join the service to provide individual and group based assessment and treatment within Bexley CAMHS to young people and their families alongside other MDT colleagues.
Main duties of the jobAs a registered mental health clinician you will provide children, young people and their families with CAMHS assessments and both group and individual interventions.
The post holder will directly contribute to the positive working environment within the CAMHS multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will require a high degree of professional autonomy and self-management, within the professional guidelines and within the overall framework of the services policies and procedures.
The post holder will manage a complex caseload, working as care coordinator within a multi-disciplinary team including: psychiatrists, psychologists, child psychotherapists, nurses, family therapist, occupational therapist and support staff, in close partnership with partner agencies working with young people in Bexley.
