Job Description:

Description
As a Utility Surveyor, using your technical expertise, you will deliver a first-class service to our customers with safety being paramount. Your role will be to identify, evaluate, and quantify work required to maintain contract specification safety clearances from overhead electrical networks. This role is within our arboriculture and infrastructure vegetation management division, operating across the Midlands and South East from our Ledbury and Hermitage offices, working on strategic, long-term contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand relevant industry legislation and safety guidelines related to arboricultural work.
  • Recognize the importance of site-specific risk assessments and emergency procedures.
  • Compile work packs in line with contract specifications for operational arborists.
  • Liaise with private landowners and stakeholders to gain work permissions.
  • Identify and understand safety zones and their inherent dangers.
  • Ensure safety of yourself and others on site.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to track and complete work according to client requirements.
  • Work autonomously with a focus on delivering high-quality, professional service.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ arboriculture experience.
  • Hold UA1, UA2.1, and UA5 certifications.
  • Additional competencies are advantageous.
