Technical Services Manager (6 Month FTC)
Boden Group are a specialist recruitment agency representing our client who operates within a forward-thinking residential business. They are looking for a Technical Services Manager to join them for a minimum of 6 months FTC. This is your chance to join a team that transforms residential communities into incredible places to live - with potential to go permanent. You can be based anywhere in the UK, but their main sites are: Manchester, Birmingham, and London.

Your Role Will Include:
  1. Leading the operation and maintenance of technical services, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, life safety, and more, ensuring efficiency and compliance at all times.
  2. Developing and implementing maintenance programs, proactively identifying improvements, and maintaining detailed records.
  3. Managing relationships with stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, and authorities, while promoting a safety-first culture.
  4. Providing expert technical advice, lifecycle planning, and compliance reporting.
  5. Driving sustainability initiatives as the Energy & Carbon Lead, focusing on energy savings and legislative compliance.
What You’ll Bring:
  1. Qualifications: Minimum HND in Building Services Engineering or equivalent, with IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certification. CIBSE/IET/IFM membership is desirable.
  2. Experience: Proven track record in facilities management, overseeing large, mixed-use portfolios, and delivering compliance excellence.
  3. Skills: Exceptional communicator with the ability to build relationships, manage budgets, and provide innovative solutions.
  4. Attitude: Enthusiastic, results-driven, and customer-focused with a flexible and forward-thinking approach.
