The automotive industry is transitioning towards net-zero and electric vehicles. Our ELV teams play a crucial role in recycling and repurposing materials from end-of-life vehicles, contributing to environmental sustainability and resource conservation.

This role supports our bold goal to become a provider of net-zero carbon sustainable materials by 2040, helping to create a better world for future generations.

This is a regional position covering South West sites (mainly Gloucester, Sharpness, Cardiff, and Swindon). As Area ELV Supervisor, you will support ELV teams in processing and depolluting vehicles efficiently, meeting targets, and ensuring safety and sustainability standards.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Hands-on role involving understanding vehicle components and identifying opportunities for reuse, recycling, and repurposing to save carbon
  • Travel to sites within your area to support vehicle processing and depollution
  • Collaborate with ELV Teams to meet production targets
  • Ensure depollution processes follow SOPs
  • Work with the ELV Area Manager to optimize recycling operations
  • Support safety, sustainability, and efficiency initiatives
  • Contribute ideas to grow ELV volumes and improve processes
  • Maintain control of waste products (oils, tyres, etc.)
  • Accurate documentation and record-keeping
  • Promote health and safety practices within the team
  • Report SHEQ concerns promptly
