This role involves using Advance Steel for creating models and drawings while ensuring high-quality fabrication standards. Candidates should have at least three years' experience and a solid understanding of steel detailing.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Structural Steel Draughtsperson to join a well-established company based in Gravesend.
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum

They are a company specialising in Structural Steelwork for various Industries and have been established for over 40 years. Due to retirement of prominent persons, they are recruiting a Steel CAD Draftsperson (preferably with advanced steel experience) to join their team.
Their range of customers and projects is diverse. They use the latest Advance Steel software to produce models and drawings for projects. Once a project is approved, you will produce fabrication drawings and advise their fabrication team if required.
The business ethos is to create high-quality projects with efficient and accurate fabrication and installation. You are expected to work independently on projects but will always be supported by the team.
The projects include steel structures, refurbishment steel, staircases, etc. Occasionally, site visits are required, so good communication skills and understanding of steel fabrication are beneficial. A full UK driver’s license is also required.
The role may expand into estimating and managing the workforce and steel erectors.
