JOB PURPOSE

The Stock Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth back-of-house operations and proper handling of goods in store. Responsibilities include stock management, compliance with KPIs, guidelines, and procedures to support front office staff and minimize inventory losses.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Lead and develop the stock team, including controllers and runners. Conduct team meetings, 1:1s, and provide feedback and support.
  2. Oversee stock activities, ensuring proper handling, storage, and organization of merchandise, including movement to the shop floor.
  3. Ensure compliance with company guidelines for returns, transfers, orders, gifting, samples, tailoring, dry-cleaning, and returns processing.
  4. Manage monthly cycle counts, negative stock reports, and inventory planning to align with business goals.
  5. Monitor KPIs such as cycle counts, e-commerce speed, refusal rates, and outbound speed; collaborate with stock controllers to optimize performance.
  6. Oversee e-commerce stock activities, ensuring smooth operations and coordination.
  7. Support VIC orders in collaboration with the front-of-house team to enhance customer service.
  8. Manage repair processes, tracking, follow-ups, and collaboration with teams to improve efficiency and client experience.
  9. Handle export processes with stock controllers.
  10. Oversee packaging and stationery inventory, maintaining stock levels with team support.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
