Overview
Reporting to the Head of Brand and Communications in Marketing, the Senior Content Marketing Specialist will develop and deliver a high-impact content strategy to enhance brand awareness, thought leadership, and demand generation. You will work collaboratively within a global marketing team, creating compelling content across various formats and channels to support business units and initiatives.

This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution. Responsibilities include managing content from conception to delivery, developing editorial plans, aligning with business goals, collaborating with stakeholders, overseeing production, and measuring performance. Your efforts will help CSC deliver consistent and engaging external communications that strengthen market position and connect with target audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute CSC's global content marketing strategy aligned with marketing, sales, and business priorities.
  2. Lead content initiatives from planning through delivery, including stakeholder engagement and collaboration with partners.
  3. Create various editorial assets such as blogs, reports, case studies, social media content, and digital campaigns.
  4. Manage relationships with external agencies, freelance writers, designers, and editors, ensuring quality and brand consistency.
  5. Optimize content for multiple channels and formats, balancing long and short-form content for diverse audiences.
  6. Collaborate with business leaders and subject matter experts to craft engaging stories and simplify complex topics.
  7. Align content with campaign messaging and customer journey strategies to support lead generation and nurturing.
  8. Oversee editorial governance, including calendars, workflows, and review processes.
  9. Manage content operations within project management systems for visibility and timely delivery.
  10. Monitor and analyze content performance, using insights to improve quality and reach.

Requirements

  1. 5-7 years in content marketing, communications, journalism, or related fields, preferably in B2B or professional services.
  2. Exceptional writing and editing skills, capable of translating complex ideas into clear, engaging content.
  3. Proven success in developing content strategies that achieve measurable marketing results.
  4. Experience managing multi-format digital content across websites, social media, email, and paid media.
  5. Strong project management skills with experience overseeing end-to-end content production.
  6. Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and provide constructive feedback.
  7. Knowledge of SEO best practices and content analytics.
  8. Proactive, detail-oriented, and creative problem-solving skills.
  9. Experience working with content agencies and freelancers is advantageous.
  10. Knowledge of financial services, legal, or corporate governance sectors is a plus but not required.
