Hays Education - Year 4 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Hays Education is currently supporting a large primary school in recruiting an experienced Year 4 teacher for a two-term maternity contract starting in September 2025. The role is initially for two terms but could be extended for the full academic year.

The school is welcoming applications from experienced teachers and ECTs with experience teaching Year 4.

Your new role

As a KS2 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible lessons to Year 4 students to meet literacy, numeracy, and curriculum goals. You will have full teaching responsibilities, including planning and delivering lessons. This opportunity is suitable for teachers on MPS 2 and above, although ECTs and NQTs are encouraged to apply.

• QTS or equivalent qualification
• Experience teaching KS2
