The role

By leveraging data, machine learning, and cutting-edge biodiversity measurement technology, we empower businesses with precise biodiversity insights, enabling informed decisions for sustainable operations.

As an Account Manager focused onagricultural supply chains, your primary objective is to leverage your expertise in agriculture to drive account growth and expand the adoption of our biodiversity solutions. In this role, you will help clients integrate nature data into their agricultural operations, enabling informed decisions, meeting sustainability targets, and enhancing market leadership in sustainable agriculture.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional with a strong background in account management, particularly within the agricultural sector. While direct biodiversity experience is not mandatory, success in this role requires a solid understanding of corporate sustainability, ESG practices, and the unique challenges and opportunities of agricultural supply chains. Your ability to deliver measurable client value and drive positive business outcomes is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth and Account Expansion

  • Maximise Revenue and Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive net revenue retention (NRR) and annual recurring revenue (ARR), supporting both the growth of our accounts and clients’ sustainability ambitions.
  • Identify and Capture Opportunities: Use your expertise in sustainability to uncover and act on new opportunities within existing accounts, helping clients achieve their goals while establishing long-term revenue streams.
  • Deliver Tangible Value: Ensure clients realise clear ROI from our biodiversity solutions, empowering them to improve supply chain practices and advance their leadership in sustainability.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Cultivate Strong Client Relationships: Build and maintain trust-based partnerships with agricultural supply chain clients, focusing on how biodiversity solutions help them address their sustainability challenges and meet key objectives.
  • Drive Client Success: Engage with clients regularly to align our solutions with their sustainability objectives, enhance their supply chain practices, and deliver meaningful, positive outcomes for their business.
Sentiment and Value Enhancement
  • Enhance Client Satisfaction: Monitor and improve client loyalty and satisfaction by tailoring solutions to meet their evolving needs, using insights to drive operational and product improvements.
  • Upsell and Cross-Sell: Identify opportunities to add value to client operations through additional services, ensuring these align with their goals and support broader sustainability efforts.
Account Coordination
  • Ensure Seamless Project Delivery: Oversee the delivery of projects within accounts, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, while meeting client expectations.
  • Maximise Account Potential: Develop a deep understanding of client structures and decision-making processes to identify opportunities for further collaboration, including expanding biodiversity initiatives across additional business units or regions.
Sector Expertise
  • Expand Market Presence: Leverage your knowledge of agricultural supply chains to position NatureMetrics as a trusted partner, driving dialogue about how biodiversity data can improve supply chain sustainability.
  • Utilise Industry Knowledge: Apply your understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., CSRD, TNFD, ISSB) to support clients in navigating compliance challenges, delivering better outcomes through biodiversity solutions.
  • Advocate for Our Solutions: Represent NatureMetrics at industry events, showcasing how our tools can help clients overcome challenges and achieve measurable progress towards their sustainability goals.

About you
  • Experience:Significant experience of account management experience in corporate sustainability and ESG within the agricultural sector, with a proven track record of delivering business results.
  • Sales Excellence:Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and expanding client bases, particularly with leading agricultural brands, supply chain managers, and producers.
  • Strategic Insight:Deep understanding of challenges and opportunities within agricultural supply chains, including the impact of sustainability practices across the supply chain.
  • Industry Engagement:Active involvement with key industry stakeholders and organisations, attending relevant events and conferences to enhance market presence and credibility.
  • Presentation Skills:Confidently deliver compelling presentations to mixed audiences, effectively communicating the value of our solutions.
