At Cheltenham Ladies' College, our goal is to provide a strong support network for our pupils. About 700 girls board in one of our 11 Sixth Form and Junior Boarding Houses. Your role will be central to this pastoral care, leading a dedicated team caring for approximately 70 students in a Sixth Form house. As Houseparent, you will significantly contribute to the welfare and development of the students, fostering an environment where each girl is encouraged to develop her talents and interests and reach her potential.

Applicants should have substantial experience in pastoral care, be effective communicators, and able to work sensitively and effectively with others. Experience in managing, motivating, and empowering staff is essential, as is the ability to manage change effectively. You should be an experienced decision-maker with strong organizational, planning, and influencing skills. Passionate about young people's welfare, teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
