MS Dynamics 365 F&O Finance Senior Consultant

The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365F&O Senior Finance Consultant with experience across all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365F&O projects. The role requires a hands-on approach, solid understanding of finance processes, and knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. A proven consultancy background is essential as the role involves continuous client interaction and collaboration with onshore and offshore teams. The position also includes presales activities related to Dynamics F&O and the broader Microsoft platform, along with contributions to proposals and business development, and mentoring junior staff.

This role is crucial for delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions at KPMG. It offers an exciting opportunity within a rapidly expanding business area of a leading global Big 4 firm.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full project lifecycle implementations
• Work with D365FO interfaces and integrations
• Gather and document functional requirements, conduct gap/fit analysis
• Create solution and integration design documents with development teams
• Manage scope and change control
• Deliver end-user training
• Provide on-site support during delivery and go-live
• Stay informed about D365FO product roadmap and updates
• Respond to RFPs and RFQs
• Resolve complex problems with creative solutions
• Identify opportunities for upselling and demonstrate company capabilities
• Promote company values
• Complete internal processes and mandatory training timely
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Directors
• Represent KPMG MBS professionally at all times

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong consulting and presentation skills
• Experience leading meetings and workshops, confident with C-Suite audiences
• At least 6 years of D365FO or AX2012 implementation experience across modules like General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash and Bank Management, Budgeting, Project Management, Fixed Assets, Management Reporter, Financial Consolidation, and Electronic Banking
• Experience with interfaces and integrations in D365FO
• Current Microsoft Dynamics certification
• Beneficial: experience with LCS and Azure DevOps
• Proficient in MS Office; Visio is a plus
• Knowledge of Power Platform and BI is preferred
