Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stores Person based at Ayrshire Central Hospital.
What you will do:
This is an excellent opportunity for an organized person with kitchen storekeeping management skills. The ideal candidate would have experience in large-scale catering, preferably within the NHS. The main kitchen at Ayrshire Central Hospital provides over 600 patient-prepared and cooked meals daily, including therapeutic diets, as well as meal services to staff and the general public. Additionally, we operate a catering service at the Bramble Cafe.

Knowledge, training, and/or experience required to do the job:
Your duties would include, but are not limited to, ordering stock, implementing ingredient control measures that comply with current recipes, receipting goods received notes, processing these promptly to the admin team, practicing good stock rotation, maintaining high hygiene standards, and recording and monitoring data for H.A.C.C.P and Environmental Health.

Hours:
24.67 hours per week; the shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 06:30-12:45.
A degree of flexibility is essential, as additional hours may be required during leave periods and peak times for the department.
