EMC Test Technicians / Engineers

Location: Bristol

Employment Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Role Overview

As an EMC Test Technician/Engineer, you will work as part of a regulatory compliance engineering team, performing assessments and tests on a range of electrical technologies to meet international standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge developments in electrical engineering and collaborate with customers on new products and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct EMC, Radio/Wireless, or Electrical Safety testing and approvals.
  2. Collaborate with clients to ensure their products meet regulatory compliance and international standards.
  3. Participate in a comprehensive training program to develop a deep understanding of compliance testing procedures and best practices.
  4. Travel within the UK and abroad occasionally to assist clients on-site.
  5. Take ownership of projects and demonstrate responsibility and initiative in delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

  1. Experience in EMC, RF or Electrical Safety testing/approvals (desirable).
  2. Degree/HND in Electronics, Electrical Power or Physics.
  3. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
  4. Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements.
