Job Advert - Division Information

The Priory Group is seeking a compassionate and skilled Bank Yoga Instructor to deliver therapeutic yoga sessions to patients as part of their holistic mental health and wellbeing treatment. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary clinical team to support patients dealing with a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress, addiction, and trauma.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver trauma-sensitive, adaptive yoga sessions to inpatient and outpatient individuals and groups
  2. Incorporate mindfulness, breathwork, and gentle movement techniques to support mental and emotional regulation
  3. Modify sessions to accommodate physical limitations, health concerns, or emotional distress
  4. Collaborate with clinical staff to align yoga practices with each patient’s treatment plan
  5. Create a safe, non-judgmental space where patients can reconnect with their bodies and experience calm
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all safeguarding and health protocols
  7. Keep accurate records of attendance and participation where required
  8. Participate in team meetings, clinical reviews, and professional development opportunities
