About The Role

As a Van Controller within GSF Car Parts, you will play an important part in ensuring that we continue to meet our sales promises by coordinating delivery runs and ensuring delivery drivers provide excellent customer service.

Main Duties include:

  1. Managing the driver team
  2. Coordinating delivery runs and orders in the most cost-effective way
  3. Ensuring vans deliver on time
  4. Controlling and coordinating branch fleet maintenance and servicing
  5. Ensuring the delivery team meets the branch's customer service standards

Working hours: (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working

About You

As the Van Controller, you will have a proven track record of managing a driver team and coordinating delivery runs.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Experience motivating a diverse team
  • Customer-focused, driven to achieve, and willing to go the extra mile
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to train and develop others
  • Must have held a driving licence for a minimum of 3 years
  • Geographical knowledge of the area within a mile radius
