We are currently looking for an experienced field Sales Account Manager to cover the Irish and UK markets responsible for selling Microsoft Platform Management (MPM) solutions to Named/focused Accounts. This is a remote based role with territory travel to new, or existing, client sites in the enterprise, as required. Experience with SaaS, On-prem, or Hybrid, is highly valued.

The role's main objective is to drive pipeline and revenue growth and increase market share within a given set of named accounts in the Irish and UK markets.

Responsibilities
  1. Generate direct business through proactive outreach to new customers/prospects via cold calling and strategic email campaigning.
  2. Work with direct customers and channel partners to identify and qualify sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities to generate pipeline.
  3. Execute on strategic sales and marketing strategies, leveraging a value-based approach.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with customers based on knowledge of Quest’s technology, products, and services.
  5. Acquire new customers and support existing customers.
  6. Articulate the value proposition associated with Quest software products and services.
  7. Create and execute targeted account campaigns.
  8. Work collaboratively with the virtual team including pre-sales, Inside sales, Sales Development Representatives, Services team, etc.
  9. Adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities while ensuring customer needs are met; accept responsibility for results of actions.
  10. Work with channel and alliance partners to increase opportunity size and expedite closure.
  11. Prepare and deliver business justifications and executive summaries to key decision-makers.
Qualifications
  1. 3-5 years of successful experience in a quota driven software sales capacity, managing the full sales cycle.
  2. 3-5 years performing at or above quota.
  3. Strong prospecting skills.
  4. Strong negotiation skills.
  5. Self-motivated and self-driven individual.
  6. Results-oriented.
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  9. Proven entrepreneurial mindset.
  10. Problem-solving skills.
  11. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  12. Proficient in Salesforce.com.

Preferred:

  1. Undergraduate degree or Graduate degree.
