Qualifications

Job Description:

Applicants who do not meet the essential criteria will be considered under the Annex 21 training programme, where whilst undergoing training, they will be paid 70% of the top of Band 7, and on completion of training, will move to Band 7 scale.

The Role

  • Work as an Advanced Practitioner within a multidisciplinary healthcare team within the FNC+
  • Clinically review, prescribe, and formulate management plans (including direction of care) for patients NHS-wide, including referrals from GPs, SAS, NHS 24, Carehomes, Prisons, and others.
  • Liaise with staff in the service
  • Report to FNC+ management team and participate in working groups to improve patient care
  • Rotate quarterly to other services to maintain clinical skills and competence

Additional Information Specific to the Role

  • Rotational shift pattern, 24/7, mainly nights/evenings/weekends
  • Ability to act as Senior Clinical Decision Maker
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Practice

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and with GPs & nursing colleagues

What you'll need

Contract details

Permanent, full-time, 37 hours/week

Location and Working Pattern

Based at FNC+ within Kirklands - NHSL Headquarters. Working pattern to be confirmed.
