Job Description

We are seeking a Mid / Senior Construction / Engineering Solicitor looking to lay strong foundations for their next career move. ( 3yrs PQE +)

We are mandated on behalf of a leading law firm with a stellar reputation in the construction and infrastructure space. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside top-tier professionals on high-value projects, from major developments with developers, funders and investors (as well as contractors) both nationally and internationally on significant energy and infrastructure projects

You will work across a wide variety of renewable and construction sectors to include high value and interesting projects in; solar, wind (onshore and offshore), nuclear, biomass, tidal, geothermal, and major infrastructure projects in sectors including highways, rail, health and education.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Advising developers, contractors, and public sector clients on all key construction form contracts including FIDIC, NEC, IChemE, MF/1, JCTJCT/NEC contracts and project structures
  • Managing a broad caseload with support from senior partners
  • Providing strategic input on risk management
  • Collaborating across departments on large-scale infrastructure & renewable projects

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3+ years’ PQE in construction law
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Experience with standard form contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, etc.)
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive, client-focused approach
