Job description

Supporting the MD of an Entertainment Management Consultancy, we are recruiting an experienced EA who is accustomed to supporting a client-focused principal in a deal-driven environment. As the CEO's time is highly valuable, he needs an EA who can bring calm and order to his busy schedule. The company is experiencing an exciting growth phase, and this EA will assist the MD in taking the company to its next stage of development.

The MD operates in a fast-paced environment where plans and priorities frequently change. Therefore, the ideal EA must adapt quickly, be proactive, and anticipate needs two steps ahead. Tact and diplomacy are essential, as the EA will need to maintain good relations with contacts, sometimes cancelling plans at short notice.

The EA will also act as a key liaison between the MD and the wider team, ensuring he is fully informed of each division's activities. Absolute discretion is required, especially as some of the MD's clients are in the public eye.

Main responsibilities include:

  1. Attending meetings, taking minutes, and ensuring action points are followed up with relevant teams.
  2. Effective diary management across multiple time zones, including scheduling and forward planning.
  3. Managing the inbox, responding as necessary, and flagging urgent matters.
  4. Prioritising the MD's workload in a dynamic environment.
  5. Gatekeeping the MD's time to maximise productivity.
  6. Processing and summarising information into concise segments to facilitate quick decision-making by the CEO.
