Job description

Job: Executive Assistant to Founder/CEO – Startup Tech/AI

Duration: 3/6 months FTC

Hybrid – Full-time

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Our client, a startup in the Tech/AI space, is looking for an Executive Assistant to the Founder. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a startup environment and be confident in establishing an EA function for the Founder. The role is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days in the office each week with the rest remote. Experience in AI, Tech, startups, or fast-paced growth businesses is highly advantageous. Experience working with government or defense contracts could also be highly beneficial but is not essential.

Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
  1. Meticulous diary management
  2. Setting up the EA function
  3. Event arrangement
  4. Complex diary management across multiple time zones
  5. Minute-taking
  6. Complex travel arrangements and strategic itinerary planning
  7. Project management
  8. High-profile stakeholder management
  9. Preparing meeting agendas and presentations (including PowerPoint)
  10. Actively seeking ways to improve business processes and analyzing results
  11. Expenses, purchase orders, etc.
  12. Social media/content creation
  13. Supporting the wider business as needed
