C&C Search is currently recruiting a Senior Assistant to support the dynamic and globally active CEO of a prestigious international advisory firm, based in New York. This is a newly created position offering significant responsibility, close partnership with a London-based EA.

Position:
Senior Assistant – Supporting the CEO of a global advisory firm, in close coordination with a London-based EA. This is a key hire and a trusted role with direct involvement in global operations and senior client engagement.
Salary:
Up to $175,000 (USD)
Hybrid set up:
Fully office-based in New York, with some flexibility for occasional remote support depending on the CEO’s travel schedule. Will require availability outside of regular working hours.

Key responsibilities for this Senior Assistant position:
  • Complex diary and meeting scheduling for the CEO, primarily for US-based engagements
  • International and domestic travel planning, including flights, cars, and schedule logistics
  • Coordination with London-based EA to ensure seamless global support
  • Drafting of high-level communications and client correspondence
  • Preparation of agendas and meeting briefs
  • Basic IT troubleshooting and tech preparation for the CEO
  • Occasional personal support such as family travel, home office logistics, or personal appointments
  • Operational and scheduling support to the New York office and its senior leaders
  • Coordination of US leadership meetings, onboarding of new hires, and liaising with HR and operations
What background and experience is the company looking for?
  • Proven experience as a Personal or Executive Assistant, supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Strong diary and travel management skills across multiple time zones
  • Excellent written and spoken communication – professional, clear and confident
  • Highly IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word and PowerPoint) and familiarity with Apple Mac systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information and prioritise effectively under pressure
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and occasional out-of-hours work
  • A natural relationship-builder with a discreet, calm and proactive approach
