Role Overview

The Global Communications Specialist position is a key role that connects our football franchises, EA SPORTS FC and EA SPORTS Madden NFL, with players across international markets. You will support regional PR agencies, activate earned media strategies, produce media reports, and manage media requests. Your work will help communicate strategic rollouts and ensure campaigns are effective globally, reflecting our international audience’s interests and sensitivities.

Reporting and Collaboration

You will report to the Global Communications Manager and collaborate with marketing teams and external PR agencies to support product communications in line with corporate strategies.

Responsibilities

1. Support global PR strategies for EA SPORTS football franchises.
2. Coordinate PR activities across 11+ markets, including press releases, campaign activations, and media pitching.
3. Manage inbound media requests and ensure clear contact points for regional agencies.
4. Create media coverage reports using tracking tools, analyze trends, and inform the team.
5. Assist with administrative tasks such as meeting notes, email monitoring, presentations, and company updates.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in communications or PR.
• Experience with media relations and industry trend awareness.
• Proficiency in email communication within a corporate setting.
• Experience in creating presentations.
• General administrative skills, familiar with Google or Microsoft Office.
• Ability to plan operational tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
