Job description

Introduction

Global Expat Pay is seeking a dynamic and proactive Executive Assistant (‘EA') / Human Resources (‘HR') Manager to provide administrative support to our leadership team while managing HR functions to enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency. This dual role demands exceptional organisational skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture. As an EA, you will serve as a key point of contact for the CEO and other executives, handling day-to-day activities to ensure seamless operations.

We will consider both part-time (4 days a week) and full-time (5 days a week) for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the CEO in operational and strategic matters, including Board meetings, diary management and building relationships with key customers and partners. Able to act as a credible representative of the CEO, where appropriate.
  2. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the rest of the executive team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing documents, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  3. Serve as a liaison between executives and team members, ensuring effective communication and alignment across departments.
  4. Manage HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, talent management, and organisational development.
  5. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with our company culture and strategic objectives.
  6. Support employee engagement initiatives, including training programs, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
  7. Assist in developing strategies for employee retention and satisfaction.
  8. Provide guidance on HR-related inquiries and resolve employee issues promptly and professionally.
  9. Arrange and manage events for small numbers of customers and partners in the office or locally.
  10. Maintain accurate employee records and facilitate payroll processing in collaboration with the Finance team.

Requirements

  1. You have a demonstrated track record as an Executive Assistant or a similar administrative role with significant exposure to HR functions.
  2. You hold a bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, etc. or you have equivalent, relevant experience.
  3. You have strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  4. You possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to enable you to interact comfortably with executive leadership and team members.
  5. You are detail-oriented and adept at problem-solving, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  6. You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
  7. You have experience in talent acquisition and employee relationship management.
  8. You are familiar with current employment laws and regulations.
  9. You are a proactive team player who can work independently while providing support to senior management.
  10. You are polished, professional, discrete and able to respect confidentiality at all times.

Benefits

This role provides a hybrid working arrangement, requiring the successful candidate to be present at our Windsor office at least three times a week.

Our office is ideally situated in the centre of Windsor, just next to the historic Windsor Castle, and is easily accessible by both road and rail.
