JOB TITLE: Sales Consultant – Engineering/Monitoring

Plowman Craven is one of the largest surveying and specialist measurement companies in the UK, working on major exclusive projects across the country with offices in Harpenden and London.

An opportunity has arisen in our sales department, Monitoring division. As the business grows, we seek a Sales Consultant to expand our monitoring services alongside the UK Sales Director. The role offers a generous base salary and requires a proactive, client-focused individual with strong technical expertise and a drive for growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture client relationships, identify upselling opportunities, and handle inbound and outbound sales efforts.
  • Quote for bids, understand market trends, and support business development with market research.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and drive business growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with the UK Sales Director to foster account management culture.
  • Deliver proposals, quotes, and bid responses promptly, and manage CRM data and reports.
Technical Expertise
  • Ensure smooth handover of operational plans to delivery teams.
  • Guide clients through sales processes, addressing technical requirements and expectations clearly.
Individual Performance
  • Achieve ambitious sales targets, improve conversion rates, and secure large deals.
  • Manage sales finances effectively and offer innovative solutions in challenging markets.
