Management Accountant | Temp - perm | £40k-55k DOE

Your new company

I am working with a dynamic company who is looking to take on an experienced Management Accountant on a temp basis of up to 9 months to join them in their office based in Chorley. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role is responsible for the production of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.

Your new role

Within your new role, you will be responsible for accurate monthly management accounts, adhering to the deadlines, ensuring accuracy of ledger postings. Producing, developing, and posting journals for accruals and prepayments. You will lead in the monthly P&L and balance sheet calls, balance sheet reconciliations identifying any risks and opportunities, support in the reporting and communicating of financial information to finance, operational and commercial colleagues. As well as this, you will be responsible for monthly variance analysis on actual financial performance vs budgets and forecasts. And proactively identify and help drive performance improvements across our contracts and processes.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you will need to have previous experience in Management Accountancy in a similar environment, strong IT skills, including Intermediate Excel and experience working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high degree of quality and detail.
