Jewellery Designer

Responsibilities
  1. Develop customer and market-focused product collections each season in line with company strategy and brand identity, including scarves, hats, sunglasses, belts, jewellery, gifting, etc.
  2. Research trends, new materials, trims, and colour palettes; design new products incorporating original ideas.
  3. Identify opportunities for new non-core product ranges to enhance current offerings.
  4. Create detailed specifications with technical drawings for new products and developments.
  5. Collaborate closely with the buying team to ensure production details meet quality standards.
  6. Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  7. Produce high-quality work within targets and tight deadlines.
  8. Attend trend and material fairs and visit suppliers as needed.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in accessories, jewellery, or soft accessories design.
  • Passion for fashion with a keen eye for current and upcoming trends.
  • Creative flair for accessories design with strong imagination.
  • Understanding of brand building; ability to interpret trends through the lens of the brand, focusing on existing house codes and evolving icons.
  • Confidence in presenting designs both formally and informally.
  • Practical knowledge of production methods in the Far East.
  • Ability to work independently, managing workload effectively.
  • Team player with positive attitude and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
