When you join as a Product Definition Engineer, you'll become a key part of our Combustion, Turbines & Exhaust Engineering Team in Bristol, supporting some of the most advanced defence gas turbine engines including the Adour and EJ200. You'll be responsible for maintaining and evolving the component definition of mature engine programmes, ensuring designs remain fit for purpose, manufacturable, and compliant with evolving requirements. This is a highly collaborative role where your expertise in CAD, tolerance stack-ups, and engineering drawing standards will directly influence product quality, safety, and performance.

  • Take ownership of Drawing Alteration Requests (DARs), updating and maintaining accurate engineering definitions for mature gas turbine engine components.
  • Support design modifications, safety alerts, and producibility improvements using CAD and technical drawing expertise.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure changes meet design and operational requirements.
Candidate Profile

We seek individuals who:

  • Have proven experience with CAD systems and engineering drawing standards, with attention to detail.
  • Are confident in managing Drawing Alteration Requests (DARs).
  • Understand manufacturing principles and design for manufacturability.
  • Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams across design, quality, and supply chain functions.
