Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) - United Kingdom (On-site)

Join Telent's Engineering Team and be empowered to innovate and drive solutions. Work closely with technical experts and contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
  • Attend planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
  • Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
  • Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasks and fault updates.
Candidate Profile:

Ideal for hands-on individuals who enjoy learning and multitasking. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is beneficial.

Key Requirements:
  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
  • Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates.
