What to expect in this role

As a Healthcare Assistant at Peverel Court Care, you will be responsible, under the direction of the Manager or Senior person in charge, for providing direct personal care to residents as outlined in each resident’s care plan. You will promote the psychological, emotional, physical, intellectual, and social wellbeing of residents.

Part Time: 35 hours per week

• Ensure the wellbeing of the residents and maximize their quality of life by aiding and encouraging each resident to reach their full potential.
• Promote good working practices and perform duties competently and in accordance with company policies to ensure a safe and secure environment for both residents and staff.
• Handle any accidents effectively and follow correct reporting procedures.
• Demonstrate outstanding time management, problem solving, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and confidence when communicating with people at all levels while maintaining confidentiality when required.
• Maintain a strong service mindset and a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Display strong judgement and decision-making abilities.
• Bring energy, enthusiasm, and confidence to take the initiative.
