Job Title: Science Teacher

Location: Lamledge School, Shifnal TF11 8SD

Salary: GBP 45,000 per annum (not pro rata)

Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

About the Role

We seek a passionate Science Teacher to inspire curiosity, promote scientific thinking, and foster a love for learning through engaging lessons. Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and supporting academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in accordance with the School's Curriculum framework
• Monitor, record, and report on student progress
• Contribute to School Development Plan initiatives
• Promote students' physical, educational, and moral development
• Develop and implement learning environments and individual education plans
• Coordinate teaching, development, assessment, and reporting across key stages
• Ensure classroom safety and organize resources effectively
• Brief and support Learning Support Assistants and related staff

Minimum Requirements

• UK QTS or equivalent qualification
