About the job:

This role exists to support the development of innovative mobile applications and features that improve our customer experience.

You will be joining a dynamic team passionate about using the latest technologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

The team is responsible for building, maintaining, and further evolving both existing and new mobile products and features.

You will be accountable for contributing to the software development lifecycle and delivering impactful mobile applications and features.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Ability to form part of an agile squad to build cross-platform mobile applications and features using React Native.
• Experience working within an agile environment; supporting the shaping of requirements, understanding technical details, providing input into planning and estimation, fostering team spirit and collaboration.
• Supporting design and code reviews to ensure apps meet functional and non-functional requirements and proactively identifying areas for future improvements.
• Engaging and contributing to the technical capability of our products to ensure they are the best fit for our customers.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering practices, such as Test-Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Industry Standards.

• Salary: London circa £55,000, National circa £45,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
• Bonus opportunity 8% of annual salary - actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
