Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant primary school in Hounslow. This role involves supporting the delivery of high-quality education and making a positive impact on students' learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across the primary age range in the absence of the class teacher.
- Provide targeted support through small group work and one-to-one interventions to help raise attainment.
- Collaborate with teachers to plan, deliver, and evaluate creative learning activities aligned with the curriculum.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to staff and parents.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Assist with preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as needed.
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or significant experience at HLTA level.
- Experience supporting primary-aged children in educational settings.
- Ability to deliver lessons across the primary curriculum confidently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities.
- Flexible, proactive, and passionate about supporting children's development.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
