Job Title: Engineer – Electrical Engineering (Control & Instrumentation)

What you’ll be doing:

• Working to recognised industry standards to produce innovative, high-quality software products.
• Collaborating within a multi-disciplined team, utilizing various tools and programming languages, engaging in all aspects of the software development cycle.
• Participating in assurance and review activities to ensure configuration, release, and documentation activities meet standards.
• Translating requirements into software designs, implementing and testing solutions, managing integration, configuration, release, and deployment.

Your skills and experiences:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of one or more software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Familiarity with Siemens TIA Portal.

The Control Systems Software team:

BAE Systems Submarines is expanding with a new office in Coventry. We are recruiting for roles supporting submarine programs, which are vital to national security. Our team handles system design, procurement, testing, integration, and support for submarine electronic and software systems.

This role offers the chance to work on high-profile submarine projects, engaging with stakeholders including the Ministry of Defence.
