Job Description

We are seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to work on our high-speed automatic drying, screening, bagging, and palletising production line. You will work alongside our Mechanical Maintenance Engineer and Production Supervisor. Your responsibilities include electrical designs and installations, inspecting, maintaining, and servicing installed plant and equipment, reporting directly to management.

Technical Skills required

  • Experience working in a multi-skilled maintenance position with an electrical bias.
  • Knowledge of control panels, PLCs, and HMIs.
  • Understanding of Star-Delta, Soft Start/Inverter, and Servo systems.
  • Experience with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • 18th Edition electrical regulations are advantageous; 17th Edition is the minimum requirement.

Salary and Benefits

  • Full-time permanent position.
  • 37.75-hour basic working week, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings and overtime as needed.
  • Basic pay of £20.30 per hour, paid weekly.
  • Additional quarterly bonus.
