Commercial Manager - North Scotland - Aberdeen

Role: Commercial Manager - North Scotland
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 + Electric Company Car + Commission
Location: Aberdeen

We are seeking a Commercial Manager to join our Aberdeen site, covering the North of Scotland, including the Aberdeen, Dundee & Stirling and Inverness offices. The role of Commercial Manager is a hands-on, results-focused manager who has a drive to deliver excellent customer service and demonstrates our company values. Leading and developing the performance of the commercial teams in their region, this role will promote the company's hire business, including our full range of products and services, ensuring the Division's Customer Charter is followed. The key focus is on order-winning activity. Working alongside operations teams, the role holder will promote an environment of effective people development, teamwork, and communication.

As part of the commercial management team, you will work closely with the Regional Commercial Manager to shape, promote, and drive improvement in all areas of work-winning activity and departmental communication. As a Commercial Manager, you will:

  1. Accountability for the delivery of orders and budgeted KPIs for the specified region.
  2. Create a culture of business development and networking to identify prospects and grow understanding of modular buildings in the Scottish market.
  3. Provide hands-on support for high-value and complex opportunities, including customer contact and liaison with key support functions to maximize order-winning potential.
  4. Promote a culture of health and safety by taking management responsibility for ensuring safe working practices, considering health and wellbeing, and personifying Zero Harm.
  5. Ensure strong customer relationships are developed in the region through effective communication, providing excellent customer service resulting in repeat, continued, or new opportunities and orders.
