We’re eager to connect with candidates who have experience in food safety and/or quality. Don’t hesitate to contact us! The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to deliver high-quality stage-gate driven projects flawlessly whilst demonstrating financial control, ensuring that Weetabix Capital funds are utilised responsibly and aligned with the strategic goals and needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality projects, executed flawlessly.
  2. Maintain a 100% safety record with zero accidents across project delivery.
  3. Adhere to CAPEX budgets with a view to both individual project budgets and overall department/site/company CAPEX budgets.
  4. Ensure the complete delivery of the project scope while avoiding any scope creep.
  5. Forecast and update spend profiles, ensuring accurate financial planning and control.
  6. Prepare and present Project approval presentations for review at up to MD level.
  7. Ensure regular, accurate communications are maintained with all key and relevant stakeholders.
  8. Engage with support functions such as Procurement and Legal to ensure robust procedures are followed.
  9. Follow the Weetabix EEM process for all projects.

Requirements:

Non-negotiables:

  1. Recognised Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  2. Suitable safety qualifications (i.e. SMSTS, FAAW or IOSH).
  3. Competent with MS Office and standard Engineering applications.
  4. Project Management Qualification, Prince 2, APM, etc.

Nice to haves:

  1. Experience of working in Engineering, Food and/or FMCG.
