Techhouse is a leading mobile phone technology company with a network of stores and websites supplying mobile phone contracts, phones, repairs and accessories across B2B and consumer. Operating in a dynamic fast-moving market, we are looking for an Accounts Assistant who will become an integral member within the finance function.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Processing all supplier and customer invoices
Processing payments & receipts
Performing bank reconciliations
Processing expense claims
Reconciling Techhouse store banking
Reconciling fixed line invoices/receipts each month
Assisting with ensuring records are ready for year-end and liaising with the auditors as necessary
Assisting with placing/processing Purchase Orders for Techhouse stores
Reconciling phone/accessory orders against invoices
Office administration tasks as necessary
Other tasks as directed by the Finance Director/Accountant
Key skills must include:
A friendly & confident manner to provide a good team fit
Previous experience in a similar role with processing invoices and payments is essential
Good Excel skills are essential, in order to manipulate data
A methodical ordered approach to processing invoices and the role in general is essential
A meticulous approach to detail & the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
