Job Title: Senior Engineer - Power & Propulsion (Electrical)

Contract Duration: 6 months

Location: Scotstoun

Salary: £46.90ph UMB or £34.84ph PAYE (Inside IR35)

Job Description:

This role involves working on electrical power systems within a defense or engineering environment. The key responsibilities include:

• HV Distribution and Electrical Safety
• Electrical Generation and Quality of Supply
• HV and High Power Protection Systems and Earthing Systems
• HV and High Power Cabling and cable routing
• High Power Electric Drives and Speed Control

Job Requirements:

• Degree qualification in engineering or related discipline (preferred but not essential)
• Registration as an Incorporated Engineer with the Engineering Council or membership of a relevant Professional Body
• Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering or defense industry
• Experience liaising with external stakeholders
• In-depth knowledge of current engineering discipline
• Ability to coach, mentor, and assist others
• Strong people management skills in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
• Promotion of coherent engineering standards (Best for Project)

Security Clearance:

BPSS clearance required; subject to ITAR regulations.
