Job Description:

Newcastle College's Automotive Academy is seeking a dedicated, professional and knowledgeable individual to join their teaching team. The teaching role will form part of the experienced Vehicle Mechanical pathway.


This role is suited for an individual who has worked in the automotive industry. The role is to lead on Further Education courses, ranging from level 1 to level 3. Time will be dedicated to upskill to encourage teaching over a further range of disciplines including Electrical Vehicle.


The role will include; preparation and delivery of high-quality teaching and learning that ensures learners develop skills and knowledge in order to make effective progress. Develop teaching and assessment resources in line with curriculum requirements. Provide assessment feedback that informs a learner of how to improve. Contribute to cross college processes to manage learner progress and performance. Communicate effectively both internally and externally to ensure learner performance is managed.


Furthermore, there will be designated days in which evening classes will be delivered
